This would give me peace of mind because there have been a few breakins in the area recently. My neighborhood is unfortunatly a stones throw away from a less than desirable neighborhood and I would really enjoy knowing I have this extra bit of protection for my family with our newborn.

I live in the country - we don't even have street lights out here. I am often home alone, and sometimes get a little bit spooked due to wind blowing, rain or whatever. This would really be calming for me at times.

I am a single mom with two children, so I am always a little worried about security. A recent break-in in our neighborhood has made it hard to sleep at night. A security system would go a long way toward making that possible again. Thanks for the contest!

My family and I live in an urban community plagued with crime and drugs! We've recently had a series of 'home invasions' in our neighborhood!

Often, my job requires me to travel out of state, and I'm forced to leave my wife and young children at home alone!

I'm constantly worrying about their safety!

Having the 'Logitech WiLife Home Security System' to 'protect' my family while I'm away from home would definitely give me 'peace of mind'!

Thanks for the 'great' giveaway offering!

Please, include my family and I into your drawing!

Good luck to all!

I saw the news story about the woman who had a system similar to this set up and saw, from work, men robbing her home. She was able to call police and they caught all of the thieves before they could leave her house. That is enough to sell me on a system like this. I would like to be able to monitor my home from work.

Thankfully, I live in a pretty safe neighborhood, so I don't have to worry about break ins and scary people, like many of the other commenters. However, we do have a dog with serious separation anxiety and she barks and chews things while we are gone. We've found a product that really calms her down, but it would be great to be able to monitor her progress and improvement with something so easy like this.

I think this wonderful Logitech Wilife Home Security System is a must have in anyone's home these days. No matter where you live, criminals own cars and they will travel so whether you live in a safe neighborhood, a city neighborhood or a rural neighborhood, anyone can be at risk for being a target! I am a stay at home mother of 3 young children, my youngest is 7 months old. My husband works long hours and I am home alone a lot with the kids. This system will give me peace of mind knowing that I am protecting my family and our home with a device that is effective. It will eleviate some of my stress and be one less worry that I have in the back of my mind. Often I try and get work done with the kids are napping and if I am away from their rooms vacuuming or down in the basement where I may not hear an intruder immediately it will allow me to comfortably walk away for a few minutes to do a quick chore without fearing I am not on alert! Thanks so much for the opportunity to enter.

In November of last year, I came home for lunch to find that our garage door had been pried open and our garage/kitchen door had been broken in off of its hinges. My brand new dresser had been pulled apart (we hadn't even had the chance to put clothing in it), our beds were up turned and there was a mess everywhere. Some time in between my husband and I leaving for work at 8am and my coming home to have lunch at 12:15 someone broke into our home and took everything they could. All my jewelry except for three items that were in a Valentine box was stolen, I even had a bag with jewelry my son made me when he was much younger was taken. My son's video game system which he paid for with money he earned doing extra chores at age 8 was stolen as well as all his games. A laptop that my husband was repairing for a friend was stolen. Loose change that was on the dresser was taken as well as one of my check books. The worst thing was just knowing that I could have walked in on any of this had I come home earlier. I have never felt the same.

Wow, this is really useful and would even notify us of wild animals on the prowl! The street is not lit very well at night, so a security camera would not only make us aware of animals, but make sure no one keys the cars in the driveway or any other mischief that occurs esp. during summer months. Thanks for the entry!

Salleefur/Jesselyn/Jesster said...

15 years ago, I was the victim of a terrifying and brutal "home invasion." It took me years to be able to sleep through the night, O has locks galore on every door and window and refuse to live anywhere that wasn't highly secure and several stories above ground. And like Emily, I'm still afraid to answer the door if I'm home alone.

Over the years the fear and anxiety have diminished - but I would feel infinitely more safe and and less fearful if we had a seecurity system like this.

I am a single mom of 2 kids. I recently just started a new job and my son has to be home for around 5-6 hrs in the afternoon by himself until I get off from work. Now something I am proud of, or feel safe doing, just at this point we really dont have any other choice at all. I already have bad panic attacks, expecially when I think about him being home alone, and this would give me piece of mind while I worked to support my kids. I would know that he is safe, and I would be contacted if something were to happen. Thanks so much for a chance to win this!

It would give me peace of mind because I am a single mom and my daughter has to stay home by herself after school for a few hours each day.

We just started our family and have a beautiful baby boy. The worry we have now has increased 10 fold, not to mention that our neighbors were broken into just a week ago. We have been talking about a security system, but are unable to at this time due to finances.

After a recent layoff from my job of 8 years I now must leave my family home at night so I can work the new job's horrible hours. This system would give me peace of mind knowing the girls would be able to see who is outside before opening the door.

With budget cuts in our city and the laying off of a TON of police officers this would give me piece of mind when I'm home alone with the girls. I hate how our neighborhood is turning out with all the foreclosures going on and I get really paranoid.

I would love to win this. I travel for work and my wife is often alone with the kids. This would make me feel better, especially since I could access it remotely.

This would give me piece of mind because where we live, there isn't a lot of security.

this would give me peace of mind just knowing that it's there. it seems that crime is on the rise and one can never be too safe. ty.

My husband could be the chief of security at his PC surveillance station while playing his video games.

I need this because my neighbors are felons. I swear, the peeps across the street have a merry-go-round of inhabitants and every time one leaves (yes, because they are arrested), another felon moves in. The other neighbors seem to be following their lead! Nooooo!

Just a few days ago our local police issued an alert about a rise in break in's in our area, especially at night, a system like this would give some peace of mind and a more secure feeling.

Hi,
You've got a good blog. It is becoming mandatory to enhance the video home security systems in home nowadays. And we realize that discovering the proper video surveillance process could be quite frustrating. That's why we put together a selection of full video surveillance systems.

Home security system plays a big role in your personal safety and the protection of your valuables. After buying a new house, the next step should be arming it with security systems and features to prevent or deter break-ins. This way, you can be sure that your home is safe against people with evil intentions.
