The Birth of Corneille

I love listening to music throughout my day. I listen to a wide variety of music depending on my mood at that time. I love this new music from Corneille! It's smooth, relaxing and romantic. It's a mix of Al Green (one of my faves from the 70's), a bit of John Mayer. If you're a fan of John Legend, Tracy Chapman and Marvin Gaye - you'll totally love Corneille!

Corneille is making waves with his music around the world. Corneille is a major new artist on Motown Records. Though virtually unknown to an American audience, Corneille sells out arenas in other parts of the world. Originally from Rwanda where he escaped the genocide, Corneille used music as a place where he could go and forget about the world- even if it was just for a little bit. Don't we all wish we could do that? Well, maybe somedays, most of us feel like escaping. So why not escape through listening to his music.
On his American debut The Birth of Cornelius, Corneille explores smooth soul and acoustic-based R&B pop. Think of a mix between John Legend, Tracy Chapman and Marvin Gaye.
If you are looking for a new CD, I encourage you to check out this CD.
