OK, don't freak out.....we don't really make, or even allow Haley to mow the lawn but she thought it was pretty cool. We let her drive around the yard last week and thought to ourselves how wonderful it will be when she really IS old enough to cut the grass.
I think it's important for every child to help with chores around the house. These are things they'll need to know how to do when they get older and every family member should do their part.
If you don't know how to cook, it's probably because no one ever taught you. Having your kids help you around the house is also a great way to spend quality time with them and they'll love it.....well, most of the time!
Our favorite thing is cooking, baking, and gardening!

Heck yes! Even my kids do chores, and our oldest is only 5! He does help mow the lawn, but we dont have a big lawn, and no riding lawn mower either. But he's strong enough to push our lawnmower, and he LOVES it! They feed the dogs, help with the trash, help vacuum...
I agree! My daughter actually likes doing the laundry and washing the floors. She hates making her bed in the morning though. Go figure!
I just can't wait for those days!! Isabelle is staring to help with the dishes,laundry,and she does have to pick up her toys. I know little miss Haley is a big helper and she does such a great job!! It was a nice seeing such a cute picture of her on the lawn mower!! I miss you girl!!
